Microsoft is joining an array of recent fintech startups that have the vision of blockchain as a service, or BAAS. The company has recently launched Project Bletchley - an open platform that combines the ease of use on the cloud together with the identity and security elements provided on the blockchain. It is unclear what this mean for those fintech startups who are trying to drive growth and use of the blockchain on the concept of BAAS. Will they be partners or compete with Microsofts new project?
