In its offices in Charlotte and Hoboken, N.J., DealCloud currently employs about 50 people, more than twice the size of its workforce last year. Last summer, the company moved into a new space at 129 W. Trade St. after operating out of Industry Coworking for about a year. Rob Cummings and Ben Harrison had worked together at Falfurrias Capital Partners, the Charlotte private equity firm co-founded by former Bank of America CEO Hugh McColl Jr., before launching DealCloud in 2010. Last year, when DealCloud completed a round of growth financing totaling $5.3 million, the company also announced Rick Kushel as its new CEO. Kushel works out of the Hoboken office.
