OK so it's not 30 days a week that Ripple is signing with banks as The Information first reported - but The Block confirms that company is in fact singing 2 to 3 deals per week with banks. According to CEO Garlinghouse, the equity side of the business currently is valued at $305m and the company holds $15b worth of its native XRP currency.

In The Information's report, Garlinghouse also commented on Facebook-led stablecoin project Libra, saying that the project would not have witnessed intense pushback had it been led by another company, such as PayPal. “I think Facebook did not appreciate the trust deficit they had,” he said.
