On the heels of the Lending Club and OnDeck IPOs, UK-based mortgage marketplace platform LendInvest is slated to debut on the London Stock Exchange later this year. The company generated £2.5m in profit last year and is expected to lend more than £250m to home buyers in 2015.

LendInvest to go public in 2015
LendInvest is set to become the first peer-to-peer platform in the UK to list on the stock exchange in a sign the alternative finance sector is maturing. The P2P platform, which claims to be the world’s largest mortgage crowdfunding marketplace, is aiming to float on the London Stock Exchange in the next year and plans on expanding into residential mortgages.
