To reach targets in Enterprise Ireland’s new strategy to support 1,000 start-ups and 150 large Irish exporting companies, Ireland is looking to European examples of mobilising pension savings to fund innovation, such as France, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark who have introduced policies to incentivise asset allocation to their domestic funds.
