Playter, offers a platform built on proprietary technology which includes 'Ari', its AI-enabled broker hub. Ari allows commercial finance brokers to assess their client's credit profile and apply for finance on their behalf at the click of a button. 

Since launching in 2021, Playter's platform has delivered over £100m of lending to SMEs for a range of purposes, from VAT funding and working capital to business expansion, training and recruitment. The acquisition will combine the firm's technology with Shawbrook's existing digital capabilities and distribution network.
