Private equity: when wealthy individuals join the wave of fund consolidation

"GP stakes," or minority investments in private equity firms, could become a distinct asset class for wealthy investors. This is the bet being made by the American firm CAZ, which is launching a fund open to individual investors dedicated to this strategy.

They will no longer be just clients or spectators, but shareholders. The American firm CAZ has launched a fund open to individuals dedicated to acquiring stakes in unlisted asset management companies, the "GP stake".
