@Facebook Messenger has P2P payments coming. @SquareCash style.

Is this David Marcus' move into mobile payments at Facebook? Similar peer-to-peer payment services like Venmo, PayPal and Square Cash provide a quick, easy transfer of funds from person to person. Here is a screenshot from Andrew Aude's Twitter feed of the FB implementation.

As reported by Forbes - Leaked screenshots posted on Twitter by security researcher Jonathan Zdziarski and developer Andrew Aude hint at Facebook’s move into user-to-user payments using the standalone Messenger app. In June, Facebook first announced that it would be unbundling Messenger from the Facebook app itself, much to the protest of many users. The controversy surrounding Messenger’s ability to ‘spy’ on users’ conversations left many feeling hesitant to download the separate app. With a new payment capability, however, users may change their tune.
