Anna Irrera at Financial News recently undertook the exercise of mapping fintech across 8 cities in EMEA. The map below ranks countries by the amount invested by VC's in local fintech companies in 2014 (according to Dow Jones VentureSource data).

From Stockholm to Tel Aviv, we looked at what makes each fintech ecosystem unique and what can be done to improve them. While London is the undisputed leader in the region, we found that every city has a specific fintech area in which it has the potential to excel, be it alternative finance, online investment management, or payments.
