But the discussions broke down partly over CoStar’s insistence that Xceligent agree to such steps as deleting certain material from its database, according to people familiar with the matter. What isn’t clear is whether or not Daily Mail faces any exposure from the litigation. In its latest discovery requests, CoStar named Daily Mail executives, indicating it was redirecting its legal strategy to focus more on the parent company and its portfolio companies.
