The Swedish e-invoicing company received its full European banking license last year with goals to be the "Ryanair of the banking sector" and is now making its first big push into the consumer space with the app that lets customers handle most aspects of their ecommerce in one place.

It is in Klarna’s DNA to be 100% focused on customer needs and the user experience, the new app is a reflection of that approach,” he says. The app - later on to be accompanied by a Klarna payment card - is instantly available on the company’s core markets in the Nordics and continental Europe. The company will follow up with UK and US during the second quarter.
