Faisal Kawar is an experienced fintech investor and operator. He is currently a global early-stage investor with FinTech Collective, a New York-based venture capital firm with 50 portfolio companies. He is passionate about mentoring and investing in MENA fintech startups and is an active angel investor. Faisal started his career in private equity, investing in financial services and technology companies across emerging markets. Faisal then joined UK and Jordan-based payments startup IrisGuard, backed by Goldman Sachs and IFC, to head Corporate Strategy. Faisal graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School, founding the HBS Fintech Club, and a Bachelors in Engineering from Yale University. Faisal is a mentor at Yale CITY and Oasis500.
