You might not expect an insurance company to urge you to be reckless, but that is the message from Scandinavian insurer Hedvig, which throws caution to the wind in a new campaign targeting college students. As students start a new semester, with some leaving home for the first time, Hedvig’s ads simply read: “Go get in trouble.”
“Many students have started a new semester or perhaps a completely new school. We want to remind you that this time in life is about more than the stress over school. It’s a time to be young, stupid and maybe not always make the smartest decisions. Life gets more fun that way,” Hedvig copywriter Maja Stampe said. “If you also have Hedvig, the anxiety over a broken mobile phone or wine stains on the carpet may not be quite as difficult.”
