California’s DMV digitized tens of millions of car vehicle titles registered in the state using blockchain technology, in part to serve as a deterrent against lien fraud. Now, up to 42m vehicle titles exist on Ava Labs’ Avalanche blockchain as part of an effort by the state to modernize the title transfer process for California drivers and DMV representatives.
