Flywire says it has processed more than $8 billion worth of payments for more than 1,400 customers around the world. The new investment will fuel growth in its core markets of North America, Europe and Asia, while establishing a presence in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, the company said. "Our strong growth is a direct result of our ability to solve the difficult pain points that exist in complex payment processes,” Mike Massaro, CEO of Flywire, said in a prepared statement. “By taking the friction out of initiating, processing and reconciling large-sum international and domestic payments, we empower our clients to capitalize on their business opportunities and optimize their customer relationships."
