Openfolio, a FinTech Collective portfolio company, is creating a wealth management social network that allows users to link an anonymized portfolio and connect their social networks.
Hart Lambur adds that millennials in particular tend to value their social circles' input over the opinions of experts. "When you go to choose a restaurant," he says, "you don't pick up Zagat. You go to Yelp or Foursquare to see what the people around you think."
