Symphony continues to attack Bloomberg. The startup is now collaborating with content/data providers to seamlessly deliver timely information into an organization's workflow.
Symphony is designed to help individuals, teams and businesses communicate from a single platform, with built-in security and compliance features. The open-source cloud platform is constructed around three key areas: community, content and communication. The partnerships with Dow Jones, a global provider of news and business information, McGraw Hill Financial’s S&P Capital IQ, a research and analytics provider and Selerity, a provider of real-time content and analytics, enhance the content pillar of Symphony’s platform by bringing organizations closer to the information they consume and distribute, while streamlining workflow productivity. “Content is critical to workflow productivity – whether it is generated in-house or sourced from trusted third-parties,” said David Gurle, founder and CEO of Symphony.
