Sean had a cocktail of experiences that peaked our interest: grew up modestly on Long Island (hungry), studied undergrad at University of Michigan in the Ross School of Business (focused, solid mid-western values), made over $20k one summer in college as a cabana boy (hustler, humble), generated his own spending money playing online poker (resourceful), reached top-10 in the world (competitive, analytical, scary smart), wanted 10 days off to take his mum to Alaska where she’d never been (strong values). After a year in the seat of Senior Associate, Sean had seen dozens of companies and ridden shotgun on over half a dozen transactions building an early specialization around our portfolio of alternative lending businesses. In his words, “I love it. I want to do this for a very long time.”
