Brazil has become a priority for Simetrik. The Colombian startup, which raised $55m in February of this year in a series B round led by Goldman Sachs, understands that the country could not only become the main market for the startup later this year, but also represent almost half of its revenue.
“I would say that we were drawn to Brazil by the clients we acquired and who had operations in the country”, says Casas. “When we realized this, we saw that it was time to develop a strategy for this market to drive growth in Latin America.”
