Michael Spencer invests in London startup Digital Debt Capital Markets

London based leading the  "electronification" of bond markets has raised £2.5m in seed capital from a group of investors including Michael Spencer, the founder of trading technology firm Nex Group and formerly ICAP.

“The way we do bond issues really hasn’t changed very much since the 1990s,” Mr Berman said. “You have emails flying around with Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PDFs and a tremendous amount of manual inputting of figures.”
