Bahamas based crypto exchange raised $420.7m in Series B-1 funding from investors including Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, Temasek, Sequoia Capital, Sea Capital, IVP, ICONIQ Growth, Tiger Global, Ribbit Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and BlackRock.

A Binance spokeswoman said: “As we continue to grow responsibly in cooperation with global regulators, the potential of this industry is virtually impossible to project today.” She didn’t comment directly on the funding effort.
