Great video by Quovo's CEO Lowell Putnam, where he highlights that as the advice industry has realized having more client data can deepen relationships, the degree to which technology is used to improve data aggregation has increased. Data aggregation companies need to transition from being a simple data product to becoming an insights product.
We now see a redefinition of the types of aggregated data – it isn’t just about collecting client data from the prospecting period or on-boarding period, it’s about the full lifecycle of the client experience. An advisor may not see anything useful in the first year and all of a sudden a spending alert would be triggered through an aggregation provider, allowing advisors to start a new conversation with clients.
