Jacksonville based banking technology company Finxact has raised $12m in Series Seed funding led by LiveOak Venture Partners. Finxact is innovating the first enterprise class public cloud/private data Core-as-a-Service platform with a completely open banking API.
The Finxact Core is a program that handles the main processes of all transactions in a banking environment, whether it be through branch or mobile banking or other channels. The Finxact Core is designed to provide next-gen services to financial institutions that may be operating on code written in the 1970's or 80's. “We’ve been building and delivering enterprise class core banking for decades and Finxact is taking a unique approach to solving the significant problems banks face today,” Finxact founder Frank Sanchez said. “It is critical that banks have the flexibility to rapidly respond to consumer demands, and the Finxact team is uniquely qualified to deliver the technology that will enable this.”
