New York based financial planning technology platform Advizr has raised $7m in Series A funding led by Franklin Templeton.

The investment group includes SEI, IA Capital and Fenway Summer, facilitated by Silver Lane Advisors. The company intends to use the funds for product development, hiring top talent and technology innovation. Advizr is led by CEO Hussain Zaidi.
