Brown Brothers Harriman has announced plans to put its CIO in charge of the firm’s new Investor Services business, which seeks to sell in-house technology to outside asset managers and other financial institutions.
“We’re bringing all of our data and technology solutions together as one set of services to optimize their delivery to clients and place them on the cutting edge of what is next,” Mr. McGovern told CIO Journal. That includes open-architecture technology services, such as its core messaging and data translation technology linked to an API framework, which enables “integration between different data sources,” he said.
