Money Dashboard raises £1m

Edinburgh based personal finance software developer Money Dashboard has raised £1m in equity crowdfunding with 6 days of the crowdfunding round left. Money Dashboard provides consumer insight and budget forecasting tools to provide consumers with up-to-date transaction records across all online accounts.

As of 10am on Monday, the equity raise on Crowdcube has £1,005,950 from 1.318 investors. Chief executive Steve Tigar said the £1 million raise, priced at 5p per share, was the minimum the company needed to fund the next stage of its expansion. He said: “Having proven our commercial model and revenue streams, the next stage is to build out sales and marketing functions. “We are delighted to have exceeded our £1 million funding target with six days still to go, and we will look to release additional equity as we now move into over-funding”.
