JPMorgan raises salaries for junior bankers for second time

JPMorgan is raising junior bankers’ pay for the second time in seven months. Citigroup is also increasing pay for junior investment bankers in the U.S. after their division posted its best performance on record last year.

The raises will apply internationally, and pay for associates will also be increased, the person said, asking not to be identified discussing non-public information. A spokesman for JPMorgan didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Financial News previously reported the developments.
